A lot of rocks and one tree.
A lot of rocks and one tree.
This photo was taken early one morning on an island called Åland located between Sweden and Finland. What is interesting in this picture I felt was the red rounded rocks in the foreground. I wanted to have as much depth of field as possible, but above all have the highest sharpness as possible. Aperture 8 is the smallest aperture that my lens can use before focus visibly degrades so it had to be a compromise with the depth of field. I set the focus three rocks into the picture and let the background become softer with distance.
I used a 24mm lens with aperture 8 and 1/20 sec shutter speed.
