Lila stenar Kullaberg | Sverige Vi hade på kvällen innan fått se fantastiska bilder Peter Nilsson @natureinframes från områdena kring Skåne. Jag blev mest imponerad av kustlinjen vid norra Kullaberg. Enligt Peter var dock årstiden inte maximal då det vätter mot norr och solen går upp i öst och ner i väst så att stranden är i ständig skugga. Men vi kunde inte motstå frestelsen att se efter med våra egna ögon så vi tog oss dit tidigt på morgonen. Med pannlampor letade vi oss ner till den steniga stranden. Vägen ner till stranden var brant men det fanns en stig och det fanns rep att hålla sig i. Vi hade tur med ljuset. Tio minuter innan soluppgång så färgades en del av molnen lila och dessa färgade i sin tur de ljusare stenarna på stranden svagt lila. I was most impressed by the coastline at the northern Kullaberg. According to Peter, however, the season is not at its best as it turns north, and the sun rises in the east and sets in the west and therefore the beach is in constant shade. But we could not resist the temptation to see with our own eyes and got there early in the morning. With headlamps we were heading down to the rocky beach. The path down to the beach was steep but there was a path and there were ropes to hold on. We were fortunate with the light. Ten minutes before sunrise, some of the clouds were colored purple and these in turn stained the lighter rocks on the beach a bit of purple. Gryta av kokande vatten Kullaberg (English will follow) Trots att det här inte borde vara ett ett ställe som gynnas av soluppgång så kunde vi inte låta bli att utforska området. Vi hade sett fantastiska bilder kvällen innan så direkt morgonen efter letade vi oss hit med pannlampor och höga förväntningar. Här har klockan hunnit bli halvåtta och solen stod en bit upp på himlen snett bakom oss. De övre molnen var nu solbelysta men de lägre var fortfarande i skugga vilket skapade en dramatisk kontrast i himlen. Det var perfekt till den dramatiska förgrunden som i sin tur låg i skugga och därmed fick en mjuk belysning som lät alla detaljer komma fram på ett naturligt sätt. Jag är extra nöjd över hur klipporna har bildat en cirkel med vad tycks se ut som en gryta i mitten. Vidvinkelobjektivet hjälper till med att se till så att alla linjer i förgrunden tycks se ut att peka mot grytan och därmed leda blicken dit. Jag väntade tills jag fick en våg som rörde om i grytan samtidigt som en våg var på väg in innan jag tröck på avtryckaren. Kullaberg | Sweden. Although this should not be a place favored by sunrise, we couldn't help but explore the area. We had seen fantastic pictures the night before so immediately the next morning we went here with headlamps and high expectations. Now the time was half past eight and the sun has reached a little bit more up in the sky behind us. The upper clouds were now lit by the sun but the lower ones were still in shadow, creating a dramatic contrast in the sky. It was perfect for the dramatic foreground which in turn lay in the shade and thus got a soft light that showed all the details in a natural way. I am extremely pleased with how the rocks have formed a circle with what appears to be a kettle in the middle. The wide-angle lens helps to make sure that all the lines in the foreground seem to be pointing toward the kettle and thus directing your eyes towards the main subject. I waited until I got a wave that stirred in the kettle while another wave was coming in before I pulled the trigger. I am so pleased with this picture so I have made a limited edition print of it. Tidlöst Kullaberg | Sverige Jag gillar hur vågorna och stenarna bildar en cirkel och att ljuset i molnen återspeglar denna cirkel. Jag får en känsla av att detta kunde lika väl vara en scen från urminnes tider. I vanliga fall hade jag klonat bort fåglarna på himlen då de blivit förvrängda av den långa exponeringen, men i det här fallet bidrar de till känslan av att vara flygande varelser från den tiden. Jag får ofta känslan av att tiden står stilla när jag är vid havet. I get the feeling that this could as well be a scene from ancient times. In most cases, I would have cloned out the birds in the sky as they were distorted by the long exposure, but in this case they contribute to the feeling of being flying beings from that time. I often get the feeling that time stands still when I'm at the coast.
